As part of their role, graduates with a bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, education, or nursing will conduct triage-based assessments, facilitate focused interventions, and promote community integration and rehabilitation under the supervision of expert licensed mental health and psychosocial rehabilitation professionals.


The training is based on a program developed in the UK and implemented by the National Health Services (NHS). It is research-based and has been adapted in several countries.

Training Duration and Scope

  • One study day per week at the Academic College of Tel Aviv–Yaffo

  • 45 study days total: 30 in-person days and 15 guided online learning days

  • Part-time employment (approx. 50%) in multidisciplinary teams within public health and welfare organizations

  • 350 academic hours altogether of theoretical and practical learning

Who Is the Program For?

This program is suitable for individuals with a bachelor’s degree in fields such as:

  • Psychology

  • Social Work

  • Education

  • Educational counseling

  • Nursing

  • Family Studies

  • Other related disciplines

Those with other academic backgrounds are welcome to contact the program director for eligibility review.

Additional Information

  • Participation in the program requires employment in a public health or welfare organization, under professional supervision

  • Graduates will receive a PWP-Israel Certification
